I want to get married and need to know how to choose unique wedding invitation wording
If you "choose" prewritten wording it won’t be unique. The only way to achieve unique wording is to write it yourself or have someone write it especially for you.
It’s not hard – just move away from formality, think creatively, but don’t forget the essentials
WHO is getting married
WHEN the ceremony is (time and date)
WHERE the ceremony will be
Where the unique part can come in is if you say something about
WHY you’re getting married (ie.. something about your relationship) and
HOW you’re getting married (unusual elements of the ceremony etc etc)

My Fiance and I are getting married on our 10 year anniversary. I’d like to have a cute way to express this in the invitation we’re sending out but I’m all out of creative ideas. Any fun, sweet or just plain awesome ideas out there?
You need to decide what you’re celebrating… Your marriage or your anniversary.
I suggest you keep your wedding invitations focused on the wedding – your future rather than your past.
Maybe make mention of it in your wedding program – First Date 12/01/2001 – Wedding Date 12/01/2010.

Everything I search for online seems to have one and not the other, but combining the two options given doesn’t quite seem to work. My parent are not remarried, and they’re the ones hosting the wedding. His father passed when he was quite young, however I still feel it is more than appropriate to include his name in the invitation, since he is still my fiance’s father. His mother is also remarried. How in the world should I word this???? PLEASE HELP!
Actually since they’re no longer with us they can’t be hosting or helping to host your wedding. I know you want to include them but the wedding invitation isn’t the place. You can remember them at the ceremony in several ways and/or at the reception but not the invitation. I’m sorry this isn’t what you want to hear.

Okay, so we have an interesting situation. My parent’s (the groom) are paying the bulk of the bill however the bride’s parents are contributing as well. The bride’s parents are divorced and the bride’s mother is recently re-married.
Issues are:
Trying to include everyone on the invitation
My parent’s want some acknowledgment as main hosts
Bride feels awkward including mother’s new husband (we have been engaged for a year and a half-her mom just planned wedding last week for this March).
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!
Ignore who is paying what – it’s not relevant.
Linda Marie,
daughter of Frank Green and Lisa (Robert) Williams,
and
Mark Peter,
son of George and Susan Green,
request the honour of your presence…..
For bride’s step-dad, just the first name is used as shown (Robert).
Effusive thanks can be given to your parents when you speak at the wedding dinner program…

I am designing my own wedding invitations, and I’m not sure how to word it: we are having a cash bar where our guests will pay for their drinks, with the first round on us. How do I word it nicely? It’s not a formal invitation as we are not formal people, but we’d still like it to sound like a wedding invitation!
Thanks
Oh, it’s such bad, bad etiquette to have a cash bar at a wedding. But if you are going to do it, there’s no proper way to list such a thing on an invite.

Hello, I need to order wedding invitations and am confused about the wording. I would like to include both sets of parents. Bride’s parents are divorced and groom’s parents are married? How would I word the invitation?
How about
Sarah Marie Smith and John Robert Jones
together with their parents
Melinda Smith
George Smith and
William and Carol Jones
invite you to celebrate their marriage
date time location blah blah blah
