I was thinking of painting the invite on a wooden heart cutout and then making it into a magnet. Then it’s kind of a favor and invite all in one…..anyway, any creative ideas are appreciated… my budget also isn’t huge so cost effective ideas are great!

That sounds interesting. I like it. Another option that is similar is to make the invitation into a coaster – that way its a useful favour that lasts…They are pretty cheap to make. You can even lacquer over a photo that is glued to a coaster back if you want – I have done this and they last well. So maybe you could have a photo of you and the groom with the invitation written over the top, then lacquered?

Wedding Invitation Etiquette?

I’ve always known it to be tacky to send the wedding registry with the invitations, is it still bad etiquette to send it even if it’s not on the invitation itself and on a separate card? Otherwise if this is not acceptable, then what’s the proper way of letting my guests know where I’m registered at? I can’t do word of mouth because the wedding guests are from all different places. Thank you!
What about a wedding website? You can include something in your invitations that say something like "for more information on our wedding, go to our wedding website" and include the link. There are tons of FREE wedding website makers online. Now if your family isn’t very tech savvy, this might not work.
